Bowen Therapy for Menopause

What is Bowen Therapy?

Bowen Therapy treats the whole body with a series of moves, sequences and timing intervals that stimulate a variety of anatomical or physiological responses resulting in long term and immediate resolution of problems and pain conditions.  Bowen taps into the underlying cause or source of many musculoskeletal, neurological, neuromuscular and other health or pain problems found in the soft tissue of the body.

How can Bowen help with Menopause?

Bowen therapy is very helpful in reducing the symptoms experienced during both the peri-menopausal (pre-) and post-menopausal stages of life.

The treatment is good for helping the body to adjust to the changing hormonal levels and provides lymphatic drainage, assisting in the removal of the toxins.   Bowen is especially good for relieving constipation, bloating and breast tenderness: all symptoms of the menopause.  Clients also use the Bowen technique as a means of stress management health maintenance.
